06. The Truth of Spiritual Ritual guiding Souls to Heaven

It is described as Hon-Bi-Baek-San(魂飛魄散[honbi:baeksan])* in the Eastern culture as it has been prevailing concept that Spirit-Soul and Body split away and goes back to where they should go when people pass away. The Spirit and Soul go back to the spiritual world in 4th dimension, review their previous life like a movie and prepare reincarnation.

* Hon-Bi-Baek-San(魂飛魄散[honbi:baeksan]) is a general idiom in East Asia Culture(Korea, China, Japan), describing the moment when people got scared to die. But the original meaning roots in the concept to describe a process when people die. In East Asia Culture, there is a long and strong belief that spirit and soul go back to the spiritual world and Baek (body energy) returns to the elements of our mother Earth.

The preparation time for reincarnation has been believed to take 49 days in Korea. So, many people in Korea conventionally perform 49 days' rite to pray Spirit-Souls to go to the Heaven comfortably and stay happy without any feeling left on earth.

This is our reality that many people spend a lot of money for a rite to comfort the alive’s mind or to melt resentment or regrets of the dead. There are so many tragic deaths in our lives... e.g., the one who killed himself, the one who died young by an unexpected accident, the late parents who only devoted themselves to taking care of their family until they passed away, or someone left behind his/her loving spouse.

The function of the rite for guiding souls to the Heaven, which is usually performed in Buddhist temple, is not so much different than a positive effect of shaman's ritual in view of comforting people. There is nothing wrong in this universe. All those things exist just for relieving the alive’s own mind.

When we question whether the rite could enable the late’s Spirit-Soul to go to the Heaven or not, it becomes a question of controversial value and belief.

The enlightened spiritual people, who understand the journey of spirit, have a deep notion that a rite for guiding souls to a better place exists just to meet the alive’s self-satisfaction. There is no one in this universe, who could direct a Spirit-Soul to go to a better place just by rite. Udeka clears that solely the Spirit-Soul could determine its direction on the journey of spirit, according to the law of Karma or the program that the Spirit-Soul has agreed to take on. The spiritual journey could not be altered merely by somebody's pray or wish.

There are many Buddhists who think the outcome of a rite depends on the capability of monk who performs it. However, it is not true. The 90% of Buddhist monks belong to the group who have not yet spiritually matured to graduate from this material world. Around 10% of them are the descending Spirit-Souls from the higher dimension. So it is difficult to meet a veteran priest whose Spirit-Soul is from the higher dimension. Even if someone had a chance to meet such a high-leveled priest, most of them hardly see, talk and summon ghosts. So that the rite orchestrated by such a priest is nothing but a formal ceremony following the standard procedure.

With one more step back, even if there exists a high-leveled priest or a shaman who can summon ghosts and make conversations with them, it is one of several solutions to unravel tangled knots of emotion. The belief that Spirit-Souls could be led and guided to the Heaven through a rite is more difficult to achieve than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. This is the order of the universe.

Most of the dead passed away under their own programs with the consent of higher-self. In this context, we can say “There does not exist unfair deaths in this universe.” The view of ‘victims’ are valid only in the perspective of material dimension. The event that is planned to occur just happens in the form of death.

Even though a rite guiding souls to the heaven as well as shaman's ritual is meaningless and have fallen to the route of getting money, those rites and rituals will last so far as people  continue to believe that those ceremonies are effective to comfort souls and unravel complicated emotional energies between the dead and alive. We are well aware of it.

The hell does not exist in reality. The illusion made out of your ignorance, feeling of guilty and fear is a major factor fortifying the matrix called ‘HELL’. Udeka clearly demonstrates that rites and rituals are also another matrix created by feelings of guilty, feelings of sorry, ignorance and sorrow to unravel our complicated hearts.

There is ‘Nothing Wrong’ in this universe. I, Udeka, just wishes the great wisdom to enlighten your mind for you.
