Operating mechanism of the meridian system 15 – The Principle of “Ki-madang” and “Light-madang” Formation
The number of energy spectrums (Ki), which are created from food or medicinal herbs after the Un-Hwa (運化) function of the spleen, is normally three to nine. This various energy spectrums (Ki) are sent back to the Po (包) from the spleen.
The Ki particles that have undergone fumigation process of the Po (包) are re-processed to about two times smaller. The re-processed particles are further transformed into Jung-Ki-Shin (精氣神), which are basically Ki and Light. This Ki and Light are supplied to the major six viscera and six supplementary internal organs and whole body through the Twelve Main Meridians.
The Ki flowing through the Twelve Main Meridians forms Ki-madang and Light-madang by the theory of Gwi-Gyung (歸經). For instance, Jujube is divided into five types of energy wavelengths after the digestive process and the fumigation process of the Po. These five energy spectrums are absorbed to the major six viscera and six supplementary internal organs through the five Main Meridians. Two of these five energy spectrums are very strong and the others are weak.
Jujube is the food with five types of energy spectrums. And hence the absorbed energies from jujube are carried to five Main Meridians among the 12 Main Meridians. The theory of Gwi-Gyung (歸經), which is described in the traditional Korean medical books, was written by the Korean ancestors, in terms of the strongest energy spectrum of Ki and Light. The nutrients of Jujube is ultimately returned to Su-So-Eum (手少陰) Heart meridian (HT).
The energies created from digestion of food usually make Ki-madang. Ginseng and Hwang-Gi (黃芪; Astragalus membranaceus), which imbed strong Ki among medicinal herbs, usually form the Light-madang. Medicines such as Sug-Ji-Hwang (熟地黃; Rehmanneh glutinosa Libosch. var. purpurea Mak.), which are mainly used for purification and reinforcement of blood circulation, have large particles even after they have undergone the digestive process and the fumigation process of the Po. Foods and medicinal herbs which have bigger particles return to the internal organs, mainly forming Ki-madang.
Foods made from flour go through the digestive process and are absorbed into the body as the nutrients of bigger particles. The bigger the particle is, the poorer the digestive absorption rate is. The bigger the particle is, the lesser the proportion of Jung-Ki-Shin absorbed to the Twelve Main Meridians is, which is due to the formation of Ki-mdang with rough particles relatively. Anything that is not absorbed into the body is excreted through the feces.
There are foods and medicinal herbs that have advantage of forming Ki-madang in human body. On the contrary, some foods and medicinal herbs have advantage for creating Light-madang in human body.
The energy (Jung-Ki-Shin) absorbed in the form of Light-madang has the stronger property of magnetic fields and light than the energy absorbed in the form of Ki-madang. Food and medicinal herbs forming Light-madang have fewer side effects and higher absorption rates than food and medicinal herbs forming Ki-madang
Visible nutrients from all foods are absorbed into the body through the blood circulation during the digestive process. Invisible and fine energies are absorbed into the major six viscera and six supplementary internal organs in the form of Ki-madang and Light-madang through the Twelve Main Meridians after undergoing the fumigation process of Po.
If acupuncture is applied on a Jung-hyul (井穴; acupoint where energy begins just like spring or well), then Ki-madang is formed in the corresponding organ. If a Hab-hyul (合穴; acupoint where energies are convergent and unified) is triggered by acupunture, Sa-Ki and Tak-Ki are emitted with Ki-madang formed in Bae-Su-Hyul (背兪穴; 24 drainage acupoints on the back) of Jog-Tae-Yang (足太陽) Bladder meridian (BL).
If acupuncture is applied on Jung-hyul (井穴; acupoint where energy begins just like spring or well) with the Pyo-Rhi (表裏; outer and inner relation of meridian routes) relationship utilized, Ki-madang is also formed. However, if we apply acupuncture on Jung-hyul (井穴) with the Jang-Bu Sang-Tong (臟腑相通; the direct relation of meridian routes) utilized, then Light-madang is created.
All acupoints belonging to Su-Tae-Eum (手太陰) Lung meridian (LU) make Ki-madang in lung but the exact location of lung where Ki-madang is formed is different per each acupoint.
If you apply acupuncture on Joong-Bu (中府; LU1) and So-Sang (少商; LU11), which are Mo-Hyul (募穴; acupoint near chest and abdomen where energies are convergent) and Jung-hyul (井穴) of Su-Tae-Eum (手太陰) Lung meridian (LU) respectively, then Ki-madang formed is formed in lung with different shape and place. Every acupoint has its own unique place where Ki-madang is formed.
Ki-madang formed by acupuncture is varying in terms of shape and size, depending on which principle is adopteded: Pyo-Rhi and Sang-Tong.
If you apply acupuncture on a spot which the patient feels uncomfortable, Ki-madang is not formed in the spot. That is, the approach is ineffective.
Human beings could not know in which area and in what shape Ki-madang is formed when they apply acupuncture. The scientific approach to acupunture was difficult because the workings of the acupoints and meridians were not visible. Hence, rigorous analysis on acupuncture and its working principle could not flourish.
The subject of acupuncture and meridian systems in the Korean medical science have been considered the working of shaman and superstition. Most people could not see meridians and acupoints, neither know the concept of Ki-madang, Light-madang and the Life Circuit Diagram.
The talented ascetics and/or some medical doctors whose spiritual eyes were enlightened could see the physical presence of meridians and acupoints, and the flow of meridian systems. They recorded what they saw on a medical book. In many cases, they could download the information from the Heaven, closely communication with Heaven. As time goes by, Korean traditional doctors found it difficult to comprehend its essence gradually. In this way, the essence was lost and only the text messages were left behind.
Now Udeka has created the series on the Life Circuit Diagram, the Operating Mechanism of the Meridian System, and other related articles such as Chakra System and Spiritual Enlightenment.
Udeka recorded the invisible world as a visible one, just like watching color television. Udeka reestablished the Principles of Korean Medical Science that had long been kept in secret.
Udeka has revealed the Truth of Life, the Truth of Mother Nature and Great Universe unfolding within human body, the small universe.
The Brand New text of Korean medical science suitable for the new era of spiritual culture was created by Udeka, breaking up the old matrix of medical science.
We welcome you to the invisible world.
As such shall it be. As such is it planned to be. As such was it done.
