Operating mechanism of the meridian system 3: “Ki-madang” and its physiological principle.

The increase of heart pulse leads to the increase of magnetic field which is generated in heart, and it activates the “heart pulse-driven blood circulation”. The “heart pulse-driven blood circulation” accelerates the general circulation power of body and also raises the power of “Ki circulation” and “blood circulation”.

*Note:
1. heart pulse-driven blood circulation: the blood circulation which is affected by the amplitude and frequency of heart pulse.
2. Ki-madang: a specific area of energy field which is generated in the meridian system by acupuncture

The acupuncture is to stimulate a meridian point, utilize “Ki-madang” which is created according to the unique characteristics of the stimulated meridian point, and finally leads to the change of magnetic field on the targeted area in the meridian system.
In this way, without the need to increase the magnetic field of heart, acupuncture can change the magnetic field in a specific area of meridian system and apply this mechanism to the treatment of pain and illness.
There is a famous phrase in the Korean medicine: “If Ki circulates well, then blood circulates correspondingly. If blood circulates well, then Ki circulates as well.”
In the western side of medicine, fluid (glucose or physiological salt solution) injection is frequently used. This treatment could be interpreted in the perspective of Korean medicine with the interaction of Ki circulation, blood circulation and magnetic field of heart as followings:
1.      Fluid injection increases inflow of blood to heart.
2.     The increased inflow of blood in heart leads to the increase of heart-pulse strength and heart-beat.
3.     The increase of heart-beat accelerates the generation of magnetic field in heart.
4.     The increased magnetic field in heart diminishes frictional force between blood vessel and blood flow, and thus accelerates speed of blood circulation.
5.     The accelerated blood circulation pushes up the flow of Ki.
6.     The boosted flow of Ki enhances self-healing power of body and helps to restore the unbalances in body.

The speed of circulation in the meridian route where “Ki-madang” is formed, which is triggered by stimulation of meridian points (acupuncture points), is 3 to 10 times faster than other spots. In this way, the meridian route circulation which is boosted by acupuncture accelerates the flow of blood circulation as well.
The characteristics which are generated in the spot where “Ki-madang” is created are as follows:
Ø  The force of magnetic field is stronger than surroundings.
Ø  The shape of “Ki-madang” created in each meridian point differs from each other, and so does the wave and color of circulated energy (Ki or light) for each meridian point.
Ø  The stronger is force of magnetic field, the bigger gets “Ki-madang”. Thus a   high energy field is formed in the area.

Once “Ki-madang” is created in a specific spot of meridian route, healing process gets activated. And symptoms of pain and illness begin to be relieved.

In the spot where “Ki-madang” is triggered, the dark energy (Ki or light) causing pain and illness is transformed to brighter light and thus the area gets purified. In this way, “Ki-madang” plays the critical role of eliminating the dark energy in body, just as darkness gets retired by light.

The physiological effects of “Ki-madang” are as follows:

Ø  “Ki-madang” causes a subtle change of magnetic field on a specific spot, following the characteristics set in the LCD (Life Circuit Diagram).
Ø  Once the magnetic field becomes stronger than surroundings, a special energy layer around the spot is formed.
Ø  The circulation in the meridian route flows faster as much as the magnetic field gets stronger, and thus the blood circulation is boosted as well.
Ø  The pressure state of spot where “Ki-madang” is formed gets lower (like vacuum state) than surroundings.

The “extravasated blood”, which means the blood staying off the blood vessel, the “phlegm” produced by the circulatory disturbance of bodily fluids and the waste materials in the body, gathers into the spot of “Ki-madang”, which come to be healed or cured by the biological circulation system getting rid of them.

The effects of acupuncture can work on a specific spot or the entire body, which depend on the characteristics of meridian points and the location where “Ki-madang” is created in body. “Ki-madang” formed by acupuncture works only on the very specific spot and for a short period, compared to the oriental treatment of medicine and foods.

Acupuncture has the advantage of forming “Ki-madang” instantly, compared to the oriental medicine and foods. But it has the disadvantage that “Ki-madang” cannot be sustained for long time.
