Dan-Jun (丹田; the energy center located in the hypogastric region) is where the accumulation of Ki-energy (氣) takes place and is the only region that can store Ki-energy (氣) in the human body. In this region, the Ki-energy (氣) that remains active even after circulating through the meridian routes is gathered and stored, and also the Ki-energy (氣) collected through deep breathing is stored. Among the 12 meridian routes, the Su-So-Yang (手少陽) Triple Energizer meridian (TE) route begins from Dan-Jun (丹田).

 

The Ki-energy (氣) generated from the digested food circulates throughout the body through the meridian routes and finally is gathered in the place, called Dan-Jun (丹田).

 

The light of the Heaven that enters the human body through Baeg-Hwe (百會: GV20), or the top of the head, acts on the body through the body's meridian system and Chakra system. Dan-Jun (丹田) is also the place where the Heavenly light is gathered after its action is ended.

 

The Ki-energy (氣) that enters the human body through deep breathing goes through the formation of Jong-Ki (宗氣; the Inert Ki-energies gathered in Dan-Joong to become Yeong-Ki) to become Yeong-Ki (營氣; the active Ki-energies circulating through the 12 main meridian routes), which acts on the body by circulating through the 12 main meridian routes. When this type of Yeong-Ki (營氣) finishes its function through the 12 main meridian routes, it is also gathered in Dan-Jun (丹田).

 

The components of food are absorbed by the human body not only in the form of nutrients through the human digestive system but also in the form of Ki-energy (氣) and light through the human meridian system.

The extraction of nutrients from food is the secret of digestion. The isolation of Ki-energy (氣) from food is the secret of the bio-distillation of the Po (包; the energy-converting center where bio-distillation occurs). The extraction of light from food is the secret of the meridian system.

 

Ki-energy (氣) and light are generated during food digestion. The system that supplies Ki-energy (氣) and light generated from the digested food to the human body is called meridian routes.

 

Meridian routes are the passages that Ki-energy (氣) and light generated from food flow through and that the light from the Heaven flows through.

 

The vibrational frequency of Ki-energy (氣) generated from food varies depending on the food. The vibrational frequency of light generated from food also varies from food to food. Besides, the vibration frequency of the light supplied from the Heaven depends on the type of the Heavenly light.

 

Each meridian route has a different vibrational frequency. Each of the 12 meridian routes has different vibrational frequencies in the Ki-energy (氣) and light that flow through it. Dan-Jun (丹田) is not an organ aimed to directly accumulate Ki-energy (氣) that has come from outside through deep breathing.

 

Dan-Jun (丹田) is an invisible organ created to reprocess and recycle the extra Ki-energy (氣) and light remaining after being used in the body.

 

The Ki-energy (氣) and light accumulated in Dan-Jun (丹田) are for recycling in our bodies. The Ki-energy (氣) and light accumulated in Dan-Jun (丹田) are like reserve power that is set aside for use in an emergency.
