WLM (Wiji-Large Meridian; 胃之大絡 ) and BLM (Biji-Large Meridian; 脾之大絡 ) is the meridian route starting from stomach and spleen respectively, both ultimately connecting to Hwe-Eum ( 會陰 ; the Perineum, CV1). WLM and BLM connected at Hwe-Eum works as the energy source of the 8 Extraordinary Meridian route ( 奇經八脈 ). Hwe-Eum ( 會陰 ; the Perineum, CV1) literally means the place where all the energies of EUM ( 陰 ; the Negative, Shadow, Darkness) come together. Through digestion process, food is absorbed and converted into energy type which is required for our body. The nutrition absorbed in the small intestine is sent to the liver.
