The twelve meridians are called the main meridians. The circulation in the twelve meridians is called the circulation of Yung-Ki ( 營氣 ; The main operating energy ). Conception vessel ( 任脈 ; Im-Maek, CV) and Governor vessel ( 督脈 ; Dok-Maek, GV) belong to the extraordinary meridians ( 奇經八脈 ) . Other six meridians are included in the Eight Extraordinary meridians in addition to CV and GV. The circulation of Conception vessel ( 任脈 ; Im-Maek, CV) begins from “Hwe-Eum ( 會陰 ; the Perineum, CV1)” and reaches “Seung-Jang ( 承漿 ; the lower lip, CV24)” following the median line of human body. The route of Conception vessel (CV) extended from Seung-Jang ( 承漿 ; the lower lip, CV24) in the mouth is connected to Dan-Jeon ( 丹田 ) through tonsils. The circulation of Governor vessel ( 督脈 ; Dok-Maek, GV) begins from Hwe-Eum ( 會陰 ; the Perineum, CV1) and reaches Ihn-Joong ( 人中 ; GV26, philtrum; alternative acupoint name is Su-Gu ( 水溝 )), through Og-Chim-Guan ( 玉枕關 ; BL9) and Baeg-Hwe ( 百會 :

Through digestion process, food is absorbed and converted into energy type which is required for our body. The nutrition absorbed in the small intestine is sent to the liver. And then the liver delivers the nutrition to the heart by the principle of “Gan-Jang- Hyul ( 肝臟血 ; bloods refreshing in liver) 1) ” and “So-Seol ( 疏泄 ) process 2) ”. Note 1) “Gan-Jang- Hyul ( 肝臟血 )”: Liver holds and filters bloods. Liver absorbs all the bloods in our body and then it stores them in the cells of liver. Through this process, liver cleans and purifies bloods. Note 2) “So-Seol ( 疏泄 ) process”: various stretching mechanism in body governed by liver. The “Pyo-Rhi” circulation of meridian system, which is about the relationship between the exterior and interior meridian routes, is very complicated compared to “Jang-Bu Sang-Tong” (the direct meridian interaction among the internal organs). The energy exchange in “Jang-Bu Sang-Tong” means the energy circulation occurring in the same layers of meridian routes. The “Pyo-Rhi” relation considers the energy circulation which occurs between meridian routes lying in different layers, e.g., between a meridian route in the exterior layer and a meridian route in the interior layer. The circulation of meridian system in the “Pyo-Rhi” relationship is called the circulation of “Yung-Ki( 營氣 ; operating energy )”, which constitutes circulation in the twelve meridian system. Jong-Ki( 宗氣 ; the most prominent energy), which is the energy clustered at “Dan-jung( 膻中 ; acupoint which is located in the middle of chest)”, is transformed into “Yung-Ki” by the magnetic forces generated in hear
